ABOUT FINK FARM

ROBERT & CAROL

Robert and Carol have been actively involved in the hog industry since 1982. Robert graduated from Colby College in 1978.  He was an employee of UPS for 25 years, and now enjoys devoting his time to raising show pigs.  Carol received her Ph.D. from Kansas State University and retired after decades serving as an Extension Specialist.

The Finks have two children, Austin and Ashley, who grew up actively involved in the livestock and 4-H programs, where they exhibited home bred hogs at numerous fairs and state and national shows. They also have three grandsons who they hope follow in the family's footsteps!

AUSTIN

Austin graduated from Kansas State in 2007 with a B.S. in animal science and industry.  He and his wife, Emilie, also a Kansas State alum, live in Wamego with their sons, Corbin, Canaan and Conrad.  Austin is currently a supervisor at Caterpillar in Wamego. Emilie is the Senior Director of Development for the College of Veterinary Medicine at the Kansas State University Foundation. In addition to owning Fink Farm sows, Austin and Emilie have a small herd of Simmental and Hereford cattle.
